Audi Q8 e-tron latest update

Latest Update: The Audi Q8 e-tron facelift has been launched in India.

Price: Audi has priced it from Rs 1.14 crore to Rs 1.31 crore (ex-showroom pan India).

Variants: The Q8 e-tron is being offered in two broad variants: Q8 e-tron 50 and Q8 e-tron 55. Audi also offers the electric SUV in Sportback body style (SUV-coupe).

Seating Capacity: It’s a 5-seater electric luxury SUV.

Electric Motor and Range: The Q8 e-tron is available with two all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain choices: a 89kWh (340PS/664Nm) dual motor setup and a 114kWh (408PS/664Nm) dual motor unit. Their WLTP-claimed range has been detailed below:

Q8 e-tron 50 (89kWh): 419km
Q8 e-tron 50 Sportback (89kWh): 505km
Q8 e-tron 55 (114kWh): 582km
Q8 e-tron 50 Sportback (114kWh): 600km

Charging: The Q8 e-tron supports up to 170kW DC fast charging and up to 22kW AC fast charging. Using the DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 31 minutes, while restoring the power from 20 to 80 percent takes 26 minutes with the latter.

Features: The Q8 e-tron’s features list consists of a triple-screen setup, which includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.6-inch touchscreen (for climate controls), and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. The list further includes 4-zone climate control, a 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen 3-D sound system with an output of 705W, power-adjustable and ventilated seats with massage function, and a panoramic sunroof.

Safety: In terms of safety, the Q8 e-tron is equipped with eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Rivals: The Audi Q8 e-tron rivals the BMW iX and Jaguar I-Pace.
