I own a land rover discovery sport just bought for offroading capabilities so for offroad purpose why not try the thar so i bought a di variant of it was good not bad and i spent around 3.5lakhs and modified it its definetly worth it now it can cross river take on any terrain i prefer instead of leaf suspension independent would have been better any ways the mileage is good around 16kmpl better than the discover sport its worth for the money spent people who cant afford big offroad vehicles i prefer them to go and buy a thar its worth its every penny specially the crde variant its slightly expensive but its dam worth engine is refined smooth you have ac which is better spend some little bucks for wheels i prefer maxxis bighorn its the best offroad tyre out there n i can assure you that it can tackle any sort of terrain without much effort or else if ur a serious offroader stick to di n u have to spend more bucks to make one of the best value for money offroaders in our country worth it, but the quality of it could be better its much worse specially the seats which are very uncomfortable uu will have a serious back ache after a long ride and the plastic in the dashboard is the worst it stinks oh god i replaced mine with the crde one also replaced the seats with sparco rally seats and the soft top quality is very bad it fades up fast so change to one with the crde s thats all folks this was my review but still ill suggest you to buy the crde variant.
