I think by far, Maruti Baleno is the best car available in the market with the similar price range. This car has the perfect mileage which suits the city driving as well as higway driving for an average indian middle class. Along with ABS and EBD common across all variants, it adds upto the wishlist of every indian. The only drawback is the waiting period of the car which is around 6 months, which i think will be reduced as soon as the Gujrat plan has come to operations.One of the concerned factor is the car that comes out of the showroom has the tyre pressure around 40, which is much more than the recommended tyre pressure for the vehicle, which also is a reason for discomfort among the customers who lately discovers this.I would suggest Maruti to have separate service centres for Baleno and S-Cross, which will enhance the customers experience. Currently its been happening in the regular Maruti service centres in Orissa. The intelligent system that guide the Gear shift for the rider is a good feature which lets the rider to control the optimal speed/gear combination.The Gear shaft is smooth enough and the suspensions are aqually good too.1.2 Engine has enough power for the city driving. i feel some times the power lags for offroading, I hope Maruti is taking care this change in the upcoming Baleno RS which has a more compact turbo engine, which provides more power and torque. The body material is quite light, i think this is the reason behind efficient mileage, which is in stark contrast to Hyundai i20. I think, this is the area where Baleno beats i20 convincingly. Maruti has done the homework smartly. On an average, this is the best vehicle in the compact sedan or premium-hatchback segment, which is clearly seen from the demand-sales proportion of Maruti Baleno, which is jaw-dropping.Nice vehicle, value for ownership, feels privileged while driving. nice re-innovation from Maruti.
