Good Car
Good Car
Look and Style: The car looks big and actually is. I think it is slightly bigger than the Honda City. Comfort: Very comfortable and great legroom it offers. Pickup: Not the best in class but haven't felt the need for higher Bhp - it's a good family car, drives well, speeds up well but may not be as quick as the Honda City. Mileage: Fantastic- mine is a petrol version- my overall mileage has been 13.6kmpl - over 28000 km - the good thing is that the dashboard shows the overall mileage. Best Features: Music control on the steering, air blowers for the back seats, remote control boot opener. Needs to improve: Maybe the pick-up. Overall Experience: Overall, it's a fantastic car.

- Nissan SunnyPros 1. Spacious rear leg room and comfortable rear bench. 2. Excellent city driveability, great low-end torque and the promise of diesel economy. 3. Convenience & comfort features such as keyless entry & start, rear fan vents, folding mirrors etc. 4. Safety kit is consistent in both variants (ABS, EBD, Brake Assist & 2 Airbags). Cons 1. Brakes feel slow to react and aren't confidence-inspiring. 2. Brake drums sound whenever more weight is applied. 3. Gearbox complain. 4. Interior should be developed such as it looks as a sportive model like the i20, Verna, and the City. 5. If the vehicle has crossed 3000 rpm more noise can be observed. 6. There are no experienced technicians in any Nissan servicing centres. 7. Many of the customers are not satisfied with the servicing. 8. For every other car servicing centres, they are taking the feedback of the service. It can't be seen in the Nissan centres. 9. Same interiors in Micra and Sunny.Read More3
- High Maintenance CostInitial service cost of the Nissan Sunny will be within Rs 6-7 thousand but it is after 30000km that you will have to spend a huge amount on service. A minimum of 10-12 thousand rupees till 50000km, then for 60000 km service charge will be min 16-20 thousand because they will change timer, some bearing, etc somehow as a standard service, it will come to 16-20k. Now I have left for 70000 kms service, their standard service is coming upto 12k + now they are saying, brake pad, drum, fan belt, etc need to be replaced which is takes the expense to Rs 25k. As the car design, it is very good, if the parts don't have a life what is the use of buying this car. As I am using it only for office commuting & is driven only by me, this is the condition. It's costing too much on maintenance which is even comparable to the Toyota Fortuner.Read More3 3

- Nissan Sunny: The Work HorseLook and Style: Side profile of this car is the best and has a very good road presence. Comfort: It's not called Caaaaaarrrr just for its namesake, it's the king of space and comfort. Lots of leg and shoulder room to accommodate anyone. Pickup: Awesome pickup and runs like a horse, overtaking is a bliss. Mileage: I get constantly 24kmpl on the highways when I drive at 80-100kmph. Best Features: The engine is very robust but the best feature is the space, it's really a Caaaaaaaarrrr. Needs to Improve: Need to improve on the entertainment features. Overall Experience: Totally Satisfied.Read More9
- Deficient MileageLook and Style: Looks are ok; has a traditional look. The steering is very light and easy to drive. Comfort: Minor bumps filter through to passengers, inadequate shock absorbers, seat height is good for getting in and getting out. Pickup: Pickup is good in the city. Mileage: Very bad, gives only about 10 km/litre even on the highways although brochures say 17 km/litre even after first service (30 days). Best Features: Space, good leg space, seat height, music controls on steering wheel etc. Needs to improve: Shock absorbers and mileage. Overall Experience: Overall experience has been okay for me.Read More3 1
- Nissan : A Complete Disappointment In IndiaI had been a Nissan fan for long and finally bought a Nissan Sunny for myself, only to realise that it was all an eyewash and I have been royally cheated with shady products, false promises, overpriced servicing, indifferent and rude customer service & regret. Inconvenience is what you get in return of your 10 lakh that you spend on the product. I wonder, how these corporate brands treat us, the Indian consumer so casually and indifferently, if they would be able to manage with such an attitude in western or more developed countries, it's surprising that despite India being such a vast consumer base, these companies still manage to get away with their irresponsible ways. I am sure Nissan is going to struggle in having a sustainable existence if they don't mend their ways.Read More11 6
