Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line

• With the new generation, the Tiguan has grown larger in size. For India, Volkswagen is offering the SUV in its sportiest ‘R-Line’ variant.

• Compared to the standard version, you get sportier bumpers both at the front and rear.

• Up front, the visual highlight is the connected lighting element on the grille and the large airdam with cross-hatch detailing. 

• Large 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels stand out in profile. 

• There are plenty of ‘R’ badges throughout the vehicle, to remind you that you’ve bought a special version. 

• Tiguan R-Line 2025 colour options include: Oryx White Mother Of Pearl Effect, Oyster Silver Metallic, Persimmon Red Metallic, Cipressiono Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, and Grenadilla Black Metallic.

• The cabin sports a completely new design, but continues to balance functionality and luxury.

• It’s finished in an all-black theme and features soft-touch materials for the dashboard and doorpads. 

• Volkswagen has peppered a lot of ‘R’ badges throughout the cabin and also added gloss black panels on the door pads and dashboard with backlighting.

• Interestingly, Volkswagen has moved the gear selector to the steering column, opening up storage space in the centre console. 

• Rear seat space was always a strong suite with the Tiguan. We expect the new model to be no different in this regard.

Features 

• The headlining feature of the Tiguan R-Line 2025 is its large 15-inch touchscreen. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

• At the base of the touchscreen are touch-based controls for the climate control.

• Another free-standing 10.2-inch display acts as the instrument cluster.

• Other features on offer include a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, front seat ventilation, and configurable ambient lighting. 

• The Tiguan has a 5 star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

• Safety features include: 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system and Level 2 ADAS.

• The 2025 Tiguan R-Line offers a boot space of 652-litres.

• The rear seats fold in a 40:20:40 ratio that lets you tailor luggage space as per requirement.

• Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line will be offered with a single 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

• This motor makes 204PS of power, 320Nm of torque. 

• A 7-speed DSG is the only transmission option and AWD is offered as standard.

• It’s capable of a 0-100kmph time of just 7.1 seconds.

• The 2025 Tiguan is offered in a single, fully-loaded R Line trim.

• It is priced at Rs 49 lakh, ex-showroom.
