Mileage of BMW i8

This is a phenomenal car but the only problem is the mileage which is not what I expected it to be, the seats are very comfortable and the design of the car is fantastic

This car has made the world sit up and check this out for a number of reasons. The 1.5L turbocharged produces 228bhp and 320Nm of torque and before you laugh at its engine capacity, let me tell you that the 7.1 kWh electric motor adds 129bhp and 270Nm of torque totaling the value to 362bhp and 570Nm of torque. Paired with the proficient 6-speed automatic gearbox, the car sprints from 0-100kmph in just 4.4 seconds gaining the top speed of 250kmph. When both the modes are used, it can deliver an excellent mileage of 47kmpl. The internals are also breathtaking and revolutionary in every sense with each and every unit centered towards the driver. Despite it's all the advantages and the way this eco-friendly car is being advertised, it is still an expensive (Rs. 2.40 crore on road) piece of machine to buy in India.
