How is the performance of BMW 1 Series?

The German automaker BMW is a renowned manufacturer of both petrol and diesel engines. BMW 1 Series has been launched with two different Engine options. Its petrol variant, BMW 1-Series 116i, comes loaded with a dominating 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 134.1bhp@4400-6450rpm of power and 220Nm@1350-4300rpm of peak torque. On the other hand, the diesel variants use a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 140.8bhp@4000rpm of max power and 320Nm@1750-2500rpm of peak torque. Its Engine displacement is 1995cc while the petrol engine displaces 1598cc. Undoubtedly, Its the most powerful vehicle in this segment of cars. Both these engines are mated with a 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
