- Styling. Low, sporty and all things fun! M Sport variant looks delicious.
- Punchy engines. Pick the petrol or the diesel, both promise to please with performance.
- Quality. Interior now feels like a scaled-down 5 Series in earnest.
Things We Don't Like
- Silly feature omissions: 360° camera, keyless entry, Android Auto - all missing.
- Low seating and tight kneeroom means it’s less than ideal for the chauffeur-driven.
- Most of the 480-litre boot is taken up by the spare wheel.

Price: Prices for the 3 Series range from Rs 46.90 lakh to Rs 52.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: It is offered in four trims: 330i Sport, 330i M Sport and 320d Luxury Edition.
Engine and Transmission: The 330i Sport and 330i M Sport variants get a 2-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine (making 258PS and 400Nm). The only diesel option is the 320d Luxury Edition with a 2-litre, four-cylinder, turbodiesel (190PS and 400Nm). These engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox with rear-wheel drive only. In the latest update, these engines could house a 48-volt electric motor for improved fuel economy.
Features: Features on board the sedan include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, a sunroof, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, three-zone climate control and ambient lighting.
Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by six airbags, ABS with brake assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Rivals: BMW 3 Series locks horns with the Mercedes-Benz C Class, Jaguar XE, Volvo S60 and Audi A4.
