Are you looking for your First Perfect Car.

The proud fame and rigorous tried and tested positive reviews, of thousands of customers, has brought back the amazing Punto in a new form as Punto Pure. The petrol version comes with a 1.2 lt. FIRE 4 cylinder engine that can produce up to 67 bhp at 6000rpm with a 1248cc displacement. And what this means to a customer is smoother ride, comfortable handling and ease of use. In fact, Punto ticked all the checkboxes that I was looking for, in my First Car. I got my Punto Pure in August 2016 at 4.86L (on road price) in Delhi. For me it's a beauty if you are looking for something under 5 L. Well, initially I was skeptical since punto was discontinued back in 2014. But tons of positive reviews and dozens of test drives at various showrooms around Delhi (lol) assured me that this is a great car and you know, it has lived up to the expectations till now. Experience : Looks : I was looking for something small (since this is my first car) and I really like the compact ergonomic style of Punto. It's not the prettiest but not half bad also. Interior : Punto packs a modest quality set of interiors. Decent quality seat cover. Not so good dashboard with small glovebox. It also has very modest quality music system ( though you can upgrade it) and a not so powerful air conditioner. Overall, I must say it's very basic but I am ok with this, considering the price point. Storage Space : The storage at the back is decent I would say considering this is a hatchback. Comfort : The driving experience so far has been amazing. The pretty responsive power steering, comfortable placement of the gear box and powerful braking system leads to enjoyable rides. Though the rear seats are tighter and even three people have to really squeeze in. Mileage: This is where Punto blasts off. The mileage on this is simply superb. I get usually around 18-19 km in the city and around 21 km at highways. Even though this car does not support ABS, it skids off very little on slippery roads and the 1.2 lt. petrol engine with good quality engine does a decent job on typical (pot holes?) Indian roads. Verdict : If you are looking for an affordable car that does the basics right then you should consider Punto Pure. This is a great car and I would say an ideal option for those who are looking for their first car. My only complaint is that, this car lacks many essential security and safety features like central locking, ABS, and air bags. The not so good quality speakers and radio reception are fine with me but below average air conditioner and lack of some important safety features might be a deal breaker for some customers. I hope Fiat will bring an upgraded version of Punto Pure which contains these features. Overall, A great entry level car which can suit quite comfortably to those who are looking to purchase their first car. I hope my review has helped.Read More
