Land Rover has started assembling the Range Rover Sport in India as a complete knock-down unit. This has led to a substantial price drop and the SUV is now priced at Rs 1.4 crore for both petrol and diesel powertrains. To be precise, it has become more affordable by Rs 29 lakh now.

• D350- A 3-litre six-cylinder diesel mild-hybrid engine which makes 345 PS and 700 Nm. It goes from 0-100 kmph in 5.9 seconds. 

• P400- A 3-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine which makes 400 PS and 550 Nm. 0-100 kmph in 5.7 seconds. 

Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels.

Land Rover Range Rover Sport Safety 

The Range Rover Sport comes with a comprehensive safety package which includes a suite of ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), and steering assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic parking brake with auto hold function. The Range Rover Sport has not been crash tested by either Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP.
