Citroen, a subsidiary of Stellantis group that also has brands like Jeep and Maserati in India, began its India voyage in 2021 with the C5 Aircross, a five-seater midsize SUV. The C5 was introduced as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) offering in India and is assembled at Citroen's Thiruvallur factory in Tamil Nadu. The C5 Aircross underwent a makeover in September 2022 with significant improvements inside and out. Because the C5 was a premium product and the French automaker sought to go into the mainstream market, it debuted the C3 hatchback in mid 2022 to crack the sub-10 lakh price bracket. The C3 hatchback is a highly localised vehicle with close to 95 percent of locally sourced parts. The carmaker's La Maison Citroen dealership network has been growing since the C5’s debut. The next in line for Citroen in India is the electric version of the C3 hatchback.

I tried the current aircross top model with the torque converter which genuinely surprised me. For a 4 Meter+ SUV. It genuinely performs great alongside really amazing suspensions. The sales guy himself suggested me test drive them on terrible roads with confidence which i did it and they were amazing! Barely any jerks! And the 1.2L turbo petrol engine really adds to its torque due it being pretty powerful and for an SUV as big and heavy as aircross and i genuinely feel this brand here deserves much more recognition than what it gets right now. You don't have to believe me. But I would definitely suggest to test drive it once yourself!
