- If you wish to own aWell, like our own Indian men, I was in the phase of changing my car, visited 3/4 showrooms, first went to my then home showroom Hyundai, (Initially I had Hyundai Eon, it is also a good car on the 4 lakh price bracket) and checked out I20, amazed by the style and feature loaded car and come to an conclusion of buying it and took all the brochures to discuss with my family. Then, on the way back home, just out of interest I went to VW showroom to check out the Polo, man what a comfortable cabin and I refused to came out of the car by asking the sales executive to describe feature by having him in the cockpit itself, after a long 1 Hr, by seeing my dilemma about which one to decide, he suggests me, since u have ridden a Korean make, it's time for u try out a European car, so if not Polo, u can also check Punto, then immediately went to Fiat showroom, what a reception I had, no one is ready to narrate me about Punto as everyone is so busy about capturing people for their new profitable Compass business, u have to believe that, they don't have a hardcopy brochure for Punto and there was no test drive car even, all they had was a single piece of Xerox copy of Punto price list. What I could get was only just a sit in a Punto urban cross for about 2 mins and been given a send-off. Fast forwarding so many things including seeing reviews and videos about Punto and all the Medicare treatment of showroom guys, I got my black beast in the name of Punto EVO. Yes, that's the magnetic power of the car to buy it. I have not even test driven that car before, first time I drove a Punto it's my Punto I took it from the showroom under the dull light of 7 o clock evening, the way it stands, wow it's so majestic, it invites me, comes and enjoy all-condition roads with me. The study weight, the ease of nullifying all the pits and bumps, the turning radius, the rigidness on the curves, the hydraulic steering on 150 km/h speeds, couch-like seats, rock bank like music system, the king like road view, what not asleep wife in the left of the cockpit (what else u could ask more). After all these, I realized the sayings of my grandpa when I was so young when I didn't even an idea of what is a car about. "A man who driven Fiat once will not even touch a Rolls Royce also" 100% true words. So forget other showrooms on the way to Fiat showroom and surely you will forget other cars in the market of 10 lakhs budget and u will wear a pride in our year when you see others stare at ur Punto and u will say from eye to them it's Punto, Fiat Punto.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Best Petrol Car in the segmentI was suppose to buy Abarth but since i stay in Mumbai i bought Petrol version in 2017 and have done so far 7000 KMs including Goa trip. Why I bought it, well first thing is its super heavy and is glued on the Road like a tank unlike todays new generation cars which are built under 900 kgs and which charge u super premium on its brand( seriously stupid). Fiat is super easy in Traffic n delight on highways, comes equipped with GPS, good strong speakers(I listen to heavy Rock, Jazz & World music). All brands sell their product on the basis of Fog lamps, Speakers, Air bags(again a big myth to sell the car, it happens only in India). Well if your Car itself is under 900 -800 KG, how can u expect Airbags to save u, basically u paid lakhs for air bags, fog lamps etc etc to sit in a plastic Tent. In Fiat you will feel the heaviness when u shut the door, open the boot, open the bonnet( man its heavy soul). I researched and did test drive on every brand which I don't wish to name. I could sense they are really exploiting which Indians love. Guys take a car after u experience it. I remember one sales guy from other brand accepted that Fiat is the Man in the market. Unfortunately don't know why its not marketed well. I took it from Landmark Worli- good experience and very professional as they have high end customers( Since they sell Jeep). Parts are available, service is good, pricing is superb for this beauty, yes its beautiful. Engine is good, above 80 its butter, braking without ABS is excellent, Interior is good, AC cooling is good, Fat tyres for super grip, Boot space nice for small family. Durability & Reliability excellent( I drove it in shitty Mumbai rains full of water, took atleast 500 kgs of weight( 4 ppl with flower beds etc) on Pune express way. Well cant stop writing, please go ahead n buy n don't waste ur hard earned money on the glitters happening with other cars. Remember I am taking about Hatchback segment only. In Sedan again new Fiat Linea is wow..Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- My New Fiat Punto EVO!!!!Hi Friends, I am writing this review after driving 50 km in Fiat Punto Evo. Firstly, I want to share my immensely pleasant experience with the company. I bought this car from land mark lifestyle cars in Delhi and can pat my back for that. The dealers were extremely professional and provided honest and customer -friendly suggestions. They were really welcoming and provided the best discounts on the car. I have always been a fan of Fiat but after this purchase, I can totally recommend it to everyone out there willing to buy a new car. As promised, the car was delivered after 15 days of booking. The most memorable moment was when my family and I saw the brand new car with a big red ribbon bow. We were instantly in love with the design and the great features like navigation, Bluetooth and touch screen at this price. Interiors are great, the dual tone dash board just rocks and the gauges of the driver seats look very classic. After all its an Italian car with lots of chrome. :) My father drove it said that this car is very heavy with topnotch quality. This is an absolute head turner. Usually, a dealer just wants to sell this car. However, in fiat the dealers believe in post selling services: I called many times to ask about the features and they were still very happy to receive the calls of their delighted customers. The car performance is very decent, handling is amazing, alignment is awesome, the rear seats are the most comfortable. One cannot feel anything sans good music in Punto. Potholes and bad roads could only be seen but not felt. I am a proud owner of this Italian beauty. Simply love it :) And as the logo says..... Life just became more interesting :):) - Aryan KaulRead MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- No Electric steering & very tight clutchI bought Fiat Punto Evo one year ago. But I do not understand why Fiat is not implementing Electric steering in Punto. Almost all the cars in Punto price range have Electric steering. Also I am not feeling comfortable with the clutch because of its tightness.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
- Manly premium HatchBeing an automobile engineer, I have driven most of the hatch backs, But Punto-Evo impressed me with it new looks, stability and positioning at high speeds. Especially on Noise, vibration and Harshness Punto keeps it cool, Some rolling noise can be heard during high speeds more than 110 Kmph. With 1.25L Engine it produces good power and torque using turbo, which is very much decent for a highway and hill climbing conditions. Long travel clutch pedal gives a premium feel because it gives response through out the pedal travel. Interiors are pretty decent with its dual tone Biege and black. Compared to previous version, Punto Evo promises on the mileage and gives 21.7 kmpl as indicated on the highways. 14-15 kmpl in peak traffic city drives. Italian car maker has proved once again the legendary car with their unique interior and exterior styling. To conclude in a line, a decent car with decent pricing which has more manual control than electronics and gives you manly feel with its handling.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
