- Premium hatchback car with stunning look in 6-7lakh on road
Based on my two months of driving Hyundai grand i10 Asta (O) version, I found it gives a feel of premium hatchback car with stunning look available today in the market in 6-7 lakhs onroad price segment. Its a comfortable 5 seater front wheel drive with enough boot space. Its perfect for a small family living in crowded city. The city mileage is around 11-12kmph with ac. Highway driving gave the mileage of 15-16 kmph. Handling in city and turning radius is superb due to its relatively smaller size. Exterior wise : Pure white colour with chrome finishing in door handles gives grand look.To have more safety and stylish appearance, the car is equipped with fog lights, headlights and taillights, along with wide tyres.Interior :Interior is built well. Features well in class quality and materials. Dashboard looks graceful and everything feels within reach. Rear ac vent is plus point. AC cooling is superb. Automatic climate control feature is missing. Leg space for rear seat spacing are quite comfortable as per hatchback segment is concerned. Five people can sit in hassle-free manner. Didn't get the reverse parking camera in my car. Position of gear is nearer to dashboard unlike other cars so it takes some time to adjust. Clutches are smooth which makes handling easier. Engine is quite silent. Has multiple storage option with nice safety feature as smart key with push button start/stop.Nice bluetooth enabled music system with decent bass and steering mounted controls. It comes with power steering.Safety wise it has dual airbags with ABS. EBD is missing. Fabric seats are comfortable.Luggage lamp is a useful feature. Reverse parking assisting sensors are handy in strict parking areas.Electric adjustable and foldable mirrors gives a premium feel. The car incorporates suitable Anti-Lock braking device to prevent skidding of vehicle. Other than this, child safety locks installed in Asta model assures proper safety of children while driving the car.Engine performance : Its a four cylinder engine with 81BHP power at 6000 rpm and 114Nm torque. This engine gives a decent sporty power and torque combo with nice pickup.Driving uphill was comfortable. Highway driving is fun with this. The car has not disappointed me yet. Even the gears switch smoothly and the handling is easy even for beginners. Suspension is good. Didn't give much jerking on off road driving. To conclude, it can be said like best thing about this model is its affordability in price. One can afford the feel of premium car and enjoy long drive in luxury car with your family by spending less. Its a nice option available in the market for middle class office going family guys. After sales service of hyundai is also nice. So far can't comment on the maintenance cost of the car but people say its affordable but a bit more than Maruti avg. yearly maintenance and service charges. My final ratings are OverallLooks - 4.2/5Performance - 4.1/5Space/Comfort - 4.2/5Fuel Economy - 3.8/5Value For Money - 4.4/5I highly recommend this affordable car for family looking for city driving with occasional highway driving.Read More
- Its A Excellent Car
Awesome car pretty much satisfied with my first car, after all, it's my hard earned money I spent on a good product from Hyundai. Exterior Awesome looks best in Class. Looks even smaller with integrated tail lights. Looks smaller as it has 14" tyres with alloy wheels it even looks smaller and unfit. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good interior fibre quality. Rear vent the first n the segment. The problem with low seating especially for taller guys like me. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent fuel economy, I have done 15k Km and I am getting 22Kmpl mileage in city conditions and 26Kmpl on the highways (make sure you drive as the gear shift suggests on display). Looses breath after 2.5K Rpm Average engine performance but 2nd best in class. 1st obviously goes to the Swift, unlike mileage. Smooth clutch. ABS work perfectly. Airbags give confidence. (I personally believe its like a 1 lakh life insurance) Gearbox is the best in class very smooth and operates best in class with long intervals. Ride Quality & Handling Excellent, brilliant construction Read More
- Excellent Car
We recently purchased Grand i10 (Petrol) Sportz model, we have driven only a few km, but here are my reviews. The car is stylish, fog lamps and headlights are sporty and appealing, Rear windscreen is bigger for a better view, chrome handles looks stylish, OVRM are electronically adjusted. The music system is average, Start/Stop push button facility is good, AC cooling is good, cools the car within few seconds thanks to rear AC vents. Leg room and head are too good. 3 people of average size can easily and comfortably sit at rear seats. Tilted steering helps to adjust as per our need, cooled glove box works fine. Dual colour Beige and black interiors give a semi luxury feel inside the car. The gearbox is smooth, easy shifting of gears. Its been just 2 days we have bought this car so no idea about its fuel efficiency but as per ARAI they are claiming as 18Km/l, I hope they give 15Kmpl. Ride quality is good, at sometimes on bad roads you feel jerks but not that much. The suspension is not so great, but still its good you don't feel big jerk even it drives roughly through big pot holes. Excellent featured car in its segment has few first-time features which other cars doesn't seem to have. People with 5.5 - 6 lac budget can blindly buy this car as it is loaded with some nice features. Read More
- Economical Luxury Car, Best In Its Segment
Writing this review, after driving the car for around 1 year. I proudly own the Petrol-Magna variant of Hyundai Grand i10. Looks - One of the best in its segment. Mileage - I own a petrol version and completely satisfied (13-14 km/l in the city; 16-17 km/l on highways). Power/speed - Can easily groove through uphills, high speeds and excellent handling. Space - 5 adults with all the comfort. Features - Most impressive. Speakers sound loud enough, AC is powerful even in hot summer. Other features like fog lamps, electronically adjustable side mirrors makes it a complete package in this segment. Suspension - here the Hyundai has to do some work. Hyundai Service - Really satisfied. Awesome service. Long Distance Drive- Can be taken on long drives. Music System- Stylish and powerful Safety - Lacks airbags and ABS Cargo Space- 256 litres. Offers adequate boot space. Fitted with an automatic light which is much needed in every car. Concluding Words - Go for it with closed eyes, you won't get any better deal in this price segment. Best in performance, style, comfort, luxury and in every aspect. ALL THE BEST AND THANK YOU! Read More
- Amazing In All The Field
I bought this car in Sep 2015. Looks nice both interior and exterior. Ride quality is excellent. It has a smooth engine which gives me better satisfaction. I wonder how Hyundai engineers make this engine such a smooth, it's very smooth as compared to other cars when idle no engine sound is heard ,sometimes I am confused with this whether the engine is started or not. Great value for money car. Grand i10 looks like a dream hatchback, which includes power, performance, safety, style, space, economical and speed. Below are the pros and cons: Good: Aerodynamic looks, diesel engine, driving comfort, features like rear AC vent, impressive boot space. Bad: Lacks ABS & auto climate control. Airbag only in Asta variant, uncomfortable seats. Final Words With the refresh looks, i10 Grand has a better card than its matured competitors like Swift, Liva, Beat and Ritz. The drive is fun if less than 110 km/hr. Ideal for Indian roads and customers. Areas of improvement Hyundai should have few more colour options available for this car. It lacks pure red and blue. Should have a variant with 1.2/1.4 Litre diesel engine for the riders who really want more from their small cars. Read More
- Hyundai Grand i10, Excelence At Its best
I did a test drive of Hyundai Grand i10 last week. The car is superb. The drive quality is really good. The suspension is excellent. The car is really stable till a speed of 130 kmph. The look and feel are excellent. The steering also good and gives you complete confidence. The hold on the road is good. The engine is very silent. At top speed to I can hardly hear any disturbing noise coming inside the cabin. The AC is really effective. The rear AC really adds on to the cooling even in extreme conditions. The car has good space on the front. The rear seats are really comfortable. The thigh support is good and makes the sitting very comfortable. The car has good boot space and can easily fit two big luggage with ease. The rear seat is comfortable for 3 people for the city drive. The only drawback I can see is the small ground clearance. Also, the engine is really responsive in lower gears. But at higher speeds, it somehow lacks the power. To sum it I will recommend this as an excellent car to drive especially in the city. Considering that most of us drive within the city 95% of the times. So its a really good car to own. Read More

I love to drive Grand i10 as the name suggest grand itself. This car is so good on the road that it grabs everyone attention coz of its muscular looks. As per the interior, this car has a very good inbuilt quality. I have tested few more cars but grand is the clear winner all across. It has a good boot space and leg room is quite a descent, moreover, it has AC vents fitted in the middle which comfort the co-passengers too. It's one of the best cars in hatchback segments and would recommend it to everyone.
