2011 Maruti Swift Dzire gets cheaper and shorter

Coming to the world of speculations, the most awaited Maruti Swift Dzire 2011 from the stable of famous car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki, is heard to get a shorter length as compared to its parent model entry level sedan Maruti Swift Dzire. The length of this upcoming version is expected get a trim by 4 Meters and is also speculated to get a price tag lower than the existing versions. As compared to the predecessors, the model is going get a lesser size and cheaper price tag.

The model of Swift Dzire present in market measures 4160mm in length and thus lies for an excise duty of 22% but f the speculations are to be believed, the upcoming model of Maruti Swift Dzire with length trimmed by 4 meters, Maruti swift Dzire 2011 will fit in lower excise duty range of 11 per cent which will result in a price difference of Rs 40,000. Thus the lower length of this car will help the company to reduce the price offering as well.

Coming to the cons, if the length of Maruti Swift Dzire is reduced prominently then the upcoming model will lack spacious boot space and a little congested interior as well.but this is going to matter a lot owing to the fact that spacious interior and amazing boot space was a major selling feature of Maruti Swift Dzire. As the company has already announced, the all new version of people’s favourite Maruti Swift Dzire will be launched in the second half of 2011.
