2011 Maruti SX4 for China, launch in India not confirmed

Recently, at the Guangzhou Auto Show, Suzuki showcased the new car model of Maurti SX4 which will be out for sale in the beginning of the next year in the Chinese auto market. Back home, the diesel car model of Maruti SX4 is expected to roll out soon in the domestic auto market. But it is still not disclosed from the Japanese auto giant that the facelifted car model of the popular sedan Maruti SX4 will come in India or not. The Indian counterpart of Suzuki, Maruti is planning big for the Indian auto market in the coming year. As it is bringing in Maruti Suzuki India's most expensive car till date, Maruti Kizashi in the Indian auto market by January 2011. After the launch of the new sedan, Maruti India will enter the premium segment while it is also enjoying a dominance in the mass segment.

Maruti is also working hard to continue its current market position in India as it is developing a small SUV to capture the growing SUV segment. The Indian auto czar is developing a utility vehicle on the platform of Maruti Jimny the two door petro powertrain which is a popular SUV in Japan. But analyzing the Indian auto market Maruti plans to bring the SUV in diesel mill in a four door car model. The Indian auto company to survive the competition it will face in the recent times, is looking forward to bring in seven car models in India. Maruti is working on a new small car which will be placed in the same segment of Maruti Alto. This small car is developed by the MSIL's local R&D team. It is speculated that the company is working on a MPV car model which is expected to be on the same platform of Toyota Innova in the R III concept. It seems Maruti will be busy in the first half of 2011 with an array of launches.

The Maruti Kizashi expected to enter in January 2011 to be followed with Maruti SX4 diesel car model in February, 2011. It is also assumed that the new car model of the hatchback Maruti Swift will be launched in March-April 2010 and also Maruti Swift Dzire, the new car model will follow it.
