2011 Volkswagen Jetta spied, coming this August

Yet again a car has been spied and this time it is 2011 version of Volkswagen Jetta. A couple of days ago, Volkswagen Golf was also spied in Pune. The new Volkswagen Jetta is expected to be launched in August this year. Being in the sedan cars category, the new Jetta will come out with new looks compared to the existing Jetta that has almost plain looks. Besides, the new Jetta offering is also supposed to be more powerful and fuel efficient than its predecessor and other sedan cars in India.

It is hoped that the 2011 Jetta would be powered by a new engine and would get a looks makeover. Initial spy reports confirm that the new Jetta has sharper lines in order to make it look big than its sibling Volkswagen Vento. There is also longer wheel base in the new Jetta as compared to the existing. Resultantly, the Jetta also is supposed to have larger room inside specially at the rear. As per the figures available, legroom inside has been increased by 2.6 inches.

In addition to the looks the new Jetta could be powered by a 2L TDI engine which is a 140 bhp common rail diesel variant. 2011 Volkswagen Jetta price in India would hopefully be similar to the existing Jetta. Reports have also come in that Volkswagen India may refrain from introducing a petrol version of this sedan car. Also, the new Jetta could have BlueMotion technology to make it more fuel efficient.
