2012 Audi A8 sneaked, launch expected in October

Audi India is ready and all set to bring the brand new 2012 Audi A8 in India. Recently, 2012 Audi A8 was spotted on the roads of Mumbai. Audi India however already sells Audi A8 L in the country, which has a long wheelbase, measuring 5267mm. On the other hand; the new 2012 Audi A8 will come with a wheelbase 130mm smaller wheelbase than that of Audi A8 L. On the whole all other features are expected to remain same as Audi A8 L.
 
The new 2012 Audi A8 will sport a 3.0 litre of TDi engine, which is also present in Audi A6, Audi A8 L and Audi A4. Audi is planning pretty enormous for India as Audi India desires to boost up its sales significantly in the Indian luxury car market. Audi India is already working on luring consumers towards its luxury cars.

Now let’s talk about the price factor of the new 2012 Audi A8. The 2012 Audi A8 price is expected to be at least Rs. 6 Lakh less than Audi A8 L. Presently, Audi A8 L costs around Rs. 72.45 Lakh. The expectation of a lower price from 2012 Audi A8 is because, it will face a tough competition from luxury cars like BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes S Class. The launch date for 2012 Audi A8 has not been confirmed yet by Audi India so far. But it is rumored that this luxury sedan could hit the Indian roads in the month of October 2011.
