BMW that launched the 2013 BMW X1 in Indonesia in January, is now all set to roll out the vehicle in India on February 14- the Valentine's day. The car which has received some cosmetic changes both inside and out, will retain the existing petrol and diesel engines, but they have become more powerful this time around.
The updated BMW X1 now gets the revised front grille with silver accents, new headlamps, revamped front bumper, new wing mirrors and modified sills on the side lower body. While the rear bumper now gets a larger diffuser. There are changes inside the cabin as well, it now features a newly designed centre console, new steering wheel with silver inserts and a few others, helping it look refreshed.
Like we mentioned above that the engines are likely to remain the same, but with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which will replace the 6-speed used in the earlier version. And we are also expecting the engines to be more fuel efficient and powerful than earlier. One more good thing associated with the 2013 BMW X1 is the fact that it will be a locally assembled car this time, which will help it become more competitive in pricing, so to retain its lead over Audi.
Stay tuned to CarDekho for more updates on the 2013 BMW X1, we will be covering the launch event live for you. Cheers!
