Swedish automaker Volvo has unveiled the 2017 update of its V60 Hatchback and S60 sedan. These updates are expected to bestow the aforementioned cars with an “additional splash of dynamism”. The 2017 update for these cars includes new colour schemes which entail the likes of- Luminous Sand and Mussel Blue. These colours are already available in other offerings -- such as the XC90 SUV, V90 estate and the S90 Sedan -- from the Swedish automaker. Other updates include 17-inch Rodinia diamond-cut alloy wheels or larger 18-inch Tucan alloys, both of which will be available as options for customers to choose from.
One can also spot glossy black highlights on the front and rear bumper inserts. At the front, the grill also gets black highlights, along with horizontal chrome bars; at the rear, the updated cars flaunt integrated exhaust tips. Other features include park-assist and retractable door mirrors.
On the inside, the 2017 Volvo S60 and V60 feature black headliners, heated steering wheel, contrasting stitching, machined aluminium interior trim, leather wrapped sports seats and piano-black finish.
These updates bestow the S60 sedan and V60 hatchback with a much more sporty appeal. It is also expected that the updated S60 sedan will be introduced before the V60 hatchback update and we expect these cars to make their way into Indian markets shortly after their international debut that will take place sometime in 2017. It must also be noted that the current outgoing model of S60 sedan will be replaced with its next generation model sometime next year or in the year 2018. The new car will be made available in both standard and long wheelbase versions.
