The Volkswagen Polo VI will have its world premiere tomorrow in Berlin, Germany, at 11:00 AM Central European Summer Time (which is around 2:30 PM IST)
Volkswagen will unveil the much awaited sixth-generation Polo tomorrow in Berlin, Germany. The Polo is expected to have its public debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The German automaker has been teasing the all-new hatchback of late. It dropped the final teaser video yesterday, which reveals its panoramic glass sunroof (which is presently available in the Polo GTI globally, but not in India) and keyless go push-button start-stop system (not available in the current model).
The first official shots of the 2018 Polo were released recently, which largely reveal the head and tail lamps along with a subtle hint of its side profile and machined alloy wheels. Read all about it here: Check out the first official shots of the 2018 VW Polo
Though we’ll get a clear directive tomorrow, the 2018 Polo is expected to go on sale first in the European market from this year-end. Speaking of its India debut, the sixth-generation Polo is expected to replace the current model from as early as 2018. Earlier, we were expecting its Indian debut at the 2018 Auto Expo; however, Volkswagen Group has now announced that it will not attend our upcoming biennial Auto Expo.
The second-gen Vento (Polo sedan) is expected to make its global debut in Brazil in the coming months post the Frankfurt Motor Show. Unlike the current sedan, the new-gen sedan is believed to be a global model and will share the same MQB-A0 platform. Stay tuned to CarDekho for the global unveiling of the Polo tomorrow afternoon!
