2019 Honda Civic: Variants Check

The Honda Civic is available in three variants: V, VX and ZX

• The petrol variant is only available with a CVT, while the diesel only gets a manual gearbox.

Japanese carmaker Honda has launched the all-new Civic in India, at prices ranging from Rs 17.70 lakh to Rs 22.30 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). It is available in three variants, V, VX and ZX. And while the petrol variant can only be had with a CVT, the diesel comes with a manual gearbox only. Also, the base-spec V variant is only available with a petrol engine. Without further ado, let’s take a look at its variants to find out what differentiates them.

Honda Civic V

Price - Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom India)

The base-spec V variant gets the following features:

Safety: Dual front and front side airbags (total: 4), vehicle stability assist, agile handling assist, hill start assist, ABS with EBD, brake assist, electronic parking brake with auto brake hold, reverse camera with rear parking sensors, walk away auto lock, front seatbelts with load limiter and pretensioner, driver and passenger seatbelt reminder, high speed alert, ISOFIX anchorage points.

Exterior: Halogen projector headlamps, LED DRLs, halogen front fog lamps, LED turn signal on ORVMs, LED tail lamps and brake light, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

Interior: Height adjustable seatbelts.

Audio & Infotainment: 5-inch display (not touchscreen) with Bluetooth/USB connectivity, four speakers and USB charging port.

Comfort and Convenience: Passive keyless entry with push-button engine start/stop, remote engine starter (petrol only), rear AC vents, paddle shifters (petrol only), auto driver and passenger window up/down, remote opening/closing of windows, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, front armrest with storage, rear windshield defogger, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, LED map lights, rear reading lights, cargo light, rear armrest, auto-off headlights and adjustable rear headrests.

Honda Civic VX

Price - Rs 19.20 lakh (Petrol)/ Rs 20.50 lakh (Diesel) (both ex-showroom India)

The mid-spec Civic gets the following features (over previous variant):

Safety: Multi-view reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, pop-up hood for pedestrian protection (diesel only).

Interior: Premium leather upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel, 8-way power adjustable driver seat.

Audio & Infotainment: 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, HDMI port, 4 tweeters.

Comfort and Convenience: Digital colour TFT MID, all four power windows with auto up/down, auto retractable door mirrors, interior ambient lighting, driver and passenger vanity mirror illumination, glove box light, dual-zone climate control, cruise control and auto dimming rear view mirror.

Honda Civic ZX

Price - Rs 21 lakh (Petrol)/ Rs 22.30 lakh (Diesel) (both ex-showroom India)

The top-spec Civic gets the following features (over the VX):

Safety: Curtain airbags, Lane-Watch camera (camera under the left ORVM displays rear traffic on screen when changing lanes. It automatically relays on the display while using one-touch turn signal or can be manually operated by a button)

Exterior: Automatic full LED headlights, LED front fog lights, sunroof, 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

Comfort and Convenience: Auto rain-sensing front wipers, remote opening and closing for the sunroof.
