Verdict
The Asta variant of the new i20 offers a feature-rich premium hatchback experience at this price. It is also the best option with the 1.2-litre petrol-CVT or the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol iMT powertrains. Hyundai is not offering the diesel engine with this variant. Instead, the Asta introduces the dual-clutch automatic transmission for the turbo-petrol engine. However, if you are willing to pay the premium for the DCT automatic, we’d suggest you skip this variant.
