Aston Martin's connection with India

Indian auto industry is showing signs of accelerating growth and is alluring the auto biggies from the world. Now its the turn of the UK premium luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin's exclusive edition One-77 super savvy car. Still the luxury car needs buyers in India but however there is another cordial connection which it is sharing.

In the car, the hanger which grips the exhaust pipe has been manufactured by Chopra Retec Rubber Products, the Lucknow based supplier, in comparision to the other big enterprises it is small. Last September, Aston Martin faced problem with the suspension hanger of Aston One-77, the auto makers most advanced sports car model. As per the company only 77 units were to be rolled out that greatly reflects that the car has to be perfect in its quality. The Lucknow based dealer was given few weeks to deliver the prototype for the approval.

The Chopra supplier team had to work on strict parameters and a tight deadline to get the order. Kiron Chopra, the company’s CMD, said that the UK auto mobile firm liked the dedication and the speed with which they performed. The entire One-77 order was given to the company which they successfully executed in the record time. Aston Martin in a way have shortlisted the Indian supplier firm as its initial vendors for all the future exhaust hanger manufacturing and also for the model's current upgrading of the exhaust hangers.
