Audi drives into Visakhapatnam- opens its second showroom in Andhra Pradesh

Audi inaugurated Audi Visakhapatnam, its 2nd showroom in Andhra Pradesh after Hyderabad. The entire Audi India model range will be available for sale in this new showroom. This world-class showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India and Mr. Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, Audi Visakhapatnam (M/S Olympus Motors Pvt. Ltd.).

We started 2014 on a strong note by continuing with our expansion strategy on the product front by launching the Audi RS 7 Sportback and on our network front by opening Audi Nashik in January this year. Located on Rama Talkies Road near Swarna Bharati Indoor Stadium, Audi Visakhapatnam is spread over a total area of 4750 sq. ft. Audi Visakhapatnam has a honeycomb aluminum facade on the exterior with a display area that can showcase the Audi model range available in India. Furthermore, Audi Visakhapatnam will also house an Audi Shop where customers can purchase a variety of Audi branded merchandise.

Audi Visakhapatnam will also manage the exclusive Audi service facility in the next 3 months, which would be located at Paradesipalem, NH-5, Visakhapatnam–Bhubaneswar Highway, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This facility would be spread over an area of 10000 sq. ft. and will have a capacity to service 12 cars per day in a single shift on a total of 6 bays along with body shop and paint shop. Till the full-fledged workshop comes up, the servicing of cars will be done at an interim workshop with 3 bays. The technicians at the facility are trained to ensure world-class services to the customers.

Audi India plans to expand its network to 40 dealerships by the end of 2014. The company opened a new showroom in Nashik earlier this year. Last year also saw the opening of world-class Audi showrooms in Mumbai South, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Delhi Central, Karnal, Vadodara and Mangalore.
