Audi India records impressive 81 percent growth in 2010

Audi the luxury automobile manufacturer has registered an accelerating growth of 81 per cent in the Indian auto market over the last year. The German auto company's Indian arm raised its yearly sales target again. Audi India rolled out 3003 cars in 2010 against 2009's 1658 cars. In the December month the company sold 212 cars which accounts to a growth of 96 per cent over December 2009 wherein it sold 108 cars.

The Audi Senior official stated that the company is proud of its 2010 performance and expects to take the growth further. The company has expanded on its project goals in three years in a row and will keep on growing. The company is thankful to the winning product line up which is Audi A8 L and also great launches in the coming months. The company will increase its portfolio with the addition of Audi A6 probably by the end of the year.

He also added that the company will exceed its growth and and cement its dealership network in the country. The auto maker is keen on increasing the customers experience also. He also said that the company is hopeful to continue the success with Audi A8 L launch and repeat the same growth which it achieved in Audi Q7.

In the international auto market, Audi saw great success in 2010 by being on the top chart in China and Europe. Audi AG 1,092,400 units were rolled out in 2010 over 2009's sale of 950,000 units by crossing the company's sales already in November, 2010. In 2008 the company sold 1,003,469 cars.

The Audi AG is expected to invest 11.6 billion euro from 2011 to 2015 in oder to expand its network, product and its employees. Around 80 per cent is speculated to go in making new cars and advanced technologies.

In India the luxury car brand moves right with its array of premium luxury on wheels. These are Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q5, Audi Q7 and Audi TT and Audi R8 available across India.
