Audi S5 Sportback Launched At Rs 62.95 lacs

Seeing the barrage of new car launches by its German counterparts, Audi has retorted back with the release of new performance oriented sedan for the Indian market. Christened as Audi S5 Sportsback, the car has been priced at Rs 62.95 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi/Mumbai) and will land on the Indian shores via CBU route.

The vehicle is propelled by 3.0 liter V6 TFSI Supercharged quattro engine that belts out 333 HP coupled with 7-speed S Tronic transmission. This blistering combination takes the car from 0-100kmph in earth shattering 5.1 seconds before hitting the electronic limitation of 250kmph. The proficient S Tronic gearbox feeds uninterrupted power making up an enhanced fuel economy of 100kms by consuming 8.1 liters of fuel. The fuel efficiency is further supported by auto start/stop engine functionality.

The new S5 Sportsback offers Audi Drive Select for the apt management of engine and automatic transmission, power steering and also the automatic air conditioning unit. With the stylish coupe design, the new Audi S5 Sportback will cater to a niche segment in the country. Audi this year has launched RS6 Avante and RS7 performance cars and with the addition of the new S5 Sportsback, the brand image will further improve.
