Audi to roll out seven new cars in India in 2012

Terrific news for all the Audi lovers in the country! Audi, who is also known as the premium car brand of Volkswagen is all geared up to launch seven new car models in India in 2012. Also, the company is working towards increasing its dealership network in the country. Audi India will add on about 10 dealers to its current dealership network of 15 in 2012. According to Michael Perschke, the managing director of Audi India, Volkswagen is putting all its heart and soul and eyes to double its component supplies from India to a whopping 700 million Euros or let’s just say $924 million this year.

As per the statistical figures of Audi, the firm managed to sell more than 5500 cars in India in the year 2011 and aims to sell around 8000 cars in 2012. The target has increased due to the high demand of luxury cars here. Apparently, about 50% of growth was seen in the luxury car sales. Some of the most loved Audi cars in India comprise of Audi A4, Audi A7, Audi A6, Audi Q7, Audi Q5, Audi A8, Audi R8 and the list goes on.
