BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe to Launch on 8th November

A couple of weeks back, we had gotten reports of the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe being caught testing in Delhi which indicated the possibility of a nearing launch date. And now that indication has turned into certainty as Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President of the BMW Group India has confirmed that the 6-Series Gran Coupe launch is to take place on the 8th of this month.

The upcoming Gran Coupe is expected to offer competition to the likes of Mercedes CLS and the Audi A7. The Gran Coupe will be on offer in India housing a 3.0-litre, twin turbo, 6-cylinder diesel engine that will hand out 320bhp along with 630Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed transmission. Additionally the Gran Coupe comes with an extended wheel-base measuring 113mm and has been stretched by 187mm to make it a total of 5007mm which helps offer a storage space of 460-litres.
