BMW Golf Cup International 2011 begins in Chennai

BMW Golf Cup International 2011 the most looked upon event by BMW India started on 29th January '11 in Chennai. BMW Golf Cup International 2011 will kick start in nine cities including  Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmadabad, Gurgaon, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Chandigarh by BMW India. However, the final round will take place in Gurgaon.

The true class part event which welcomes invitees includes the owners offering a close interaction with each other. Among the 50 countries participating, India is one amongst the 100,000 players who will compete in more than 1,000 tournaments. The winners will then converge in the BMW Golf Cup International 2011 World Final.

Dr. Andreas Schaaf, President, BMW India, said that the luxury car maker have declared the BMW Golf Cup International 2011 on the Indian soil. Ameteur Golf is being well appreciated and respected. The company is hopeful to do big this year as it is one of the official sponsors. He said that it is a great platform to meet the customers, potential buyers as well as the game partons.

The BMW India dealers will find out the golf players among its owners and future buyers. The golf tournament will be held with the rules of the local golf clubs. In Chennai, the golf cup has created excitement and it is welcoming to host the opening tournament.

BMW Golf Cup International 2011 is fragmented in three categories : A (handicaps up to 12), B (handicaps 13 - 28) and Ladies Category (handicaps up to 28). The winner, runner up will qualify for the finals. And the final event winners will get a chance to participate in the world final of BMW Golf Cup International 2011. The Chennai Golf auto show winners are: S Radha Krishnan winner in Men A category, S Laxminarayanan winner in Men B category and Chumar Verghese winner of the Longest Drive, Dr. C M Thiagarajan winner in Closest to the Pin and Mani Ratnam winner in Straight Drive.
