BMW launched two new 3-Series variants in India

BMW, Germany based luxury car manufacturer, today launched two new variants in the segment of its 3 series Sedans in India. The model was launched nationally by BMW India President Peter Kronschnabl. Commenting on the occasion MR Kronschnabl said that the new 320d Corporate edition (Diesel) and the BMW 330i (petrol) were variants of the best selling BMW 3 Series Sedan. Both BMW 330i and 320d Corporate edition model has been manufactured at BMW's facility in India. Both of the car models will be available at company's 17 dealerships spread across country .
Where the BMW 330i version is coming with a price tag of Rs 33.40 lakh, the BMW 320d Corporate edition is available with a price tag of 23.95 lakh, (ex-showroom Delhi). Company is also planning to increase the number of its dealerships to 22 in coming weeks. New dealerships will be opened at cities like Goa, Indore and Ludhiana. BMW sold 3,619 units of its vehicles in year 2009 as compare to 2,908 units in year 2008, accounted for a growth of 24 percent.
