If rumors are to be believed, the performance version of the BMW 7 Series will make its debut in 2013. The M Performance variant of the 7 Series is expected to carry the M750i name and will be powered by a 4.4-litre Twin Power Turbo V8 powertrain capable of churning out 450bhp. It is said that BMW M750i will be available with rear-drive as a standard and there will also be an option of all-wheel-drive.
This performance version is said to carry a high price tag, higher than the 750i and a little lower than the 760Li. There is a suspension development also that is expected along with the M Sport package. The M Performance won’t revise the car much from the production model. This performance version will join the likes of Audi S8, Mercedes – Benz AMG tuned S-Class etc. Further they are also looking at a 4-cylinder version of the 728i model. The engine will be the N20B20 2.0-litre unit which is likely to be assisted by an electric motor. The official confirmation on both the models is still awaited.
