Recently, Audi was in the papers having opened the largest showroom in Ahmedabad; and now BMW has stepped up to open the second largest automotive showroom in India. The showroom was inaugurated at Mathura Road in Faridabad and is called Deutsche Motoren Faridabad. BMW currently leads the German automotive trio and Audi is ever close at their heels and catching up. A good dealer network is what has helped Audi catch up to its other German rivals so quickly and this is the trend BMW is following as well.
The new dealership at Faridabad stands at 1,300 sq. feet with space for displaying up to 13 cars at a time along with a fully equipped workshop that holds 92 bays and can service up to 350 vehicles in a day. Also within the showroom are the Reception at the Car and Urban Street Display concept art along with a consultation lounge.
Mr. Philipp Von Sahr, President, BMW Group India stated on the Faridabad showroom, “Five years ago, BMW changed the face of Indian luxury car segment with introduction of world-class premium dealerships that presented an unparalleled experience to the premium clientele. Today, with the launch of Deutsche Motoren Faridabad, BMW India is proud to set yet another benchmark in luxury car retail in India. Due to its vast capacity and meticulous BMW processes, Deutsche Motoren Faridabad will offer supreme pre and post sales service to BMW customers.”
