  • Amaze can be booked at dealerships for a deposit of Rs 21,000 or online for Rs 5,000.

The facelifted Honda Amaze is due to launch on August 18 and pre-bookings are officially underway. It can be booked at Honda dealerships for a token amount of Rs 21,000 or online via the carmaker’s website for an amount of Rs 5,000.

The changes to the facelifted Honda Amaze will likely be focused around cosmetic tweaks and minor feature updates. In the teaser to announce the start of bookings, Honda shows the Amaze’s new LED projector headlamps with DRLs and updated tail lamps which now feature C-shaped LED elements. The overall shape of both lighting units seems unchanged. Honda will offer a new dual-tone alloy wheel design too for its facelifted sub-4m sedan while the rest of the car’s design seems to remain the same.

Honda has also stated that the 2021 Amaze will offer enhanced interiors, possibly with a new theme for the cabin upholstery, and minor feature updates like an updated touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech. The Amaze will continue to be offered with the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, both with manual and CVT automatic transmissions, as before.

The updates to the Amaze will add a premium to its current prices, especially in the higher spec variants. Its current prices range from Rs 6.32 lakh to Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Amaze rivals the likes of the Hyundai Aura, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor and Ford Aspire.
