Guinness World Records has stripped the Bugatti Veyron name as the world's fastest car. This has been a heart-breaking news for Bugatti fans which associated the Veyron as the fastest production car on the planet until today. Now Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is no longer the fastest.
According to a report published by Sunday Times Driving, Guinness World Records has announced that the super-car doesn't clinch the auspicious title (world's fastest car) anymore. The authorizing committee at Guinness World's decided to strip the Veyron Super Sport of its 'World's Fastest Production Car' title. The Veyron SS had achieved a top speed of 431.072 km/h back in 2010 was adorned with the speed limiter deactivated, while the cars that Bugatti were sold to the buyers had an electronically limited top speed, which Guinness didn't find appropriate. Now the record goes back to SSC ultimate Aero.
On the same, Bugatti said that, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is 'more than just a world record car'. This is all we have, stay tuned for more updates. Cheers!!!!!
