This week’s major highlights include updates on upcoming products from Maruti and Hyundai, while Volvo also unveiled its second EV in India. During the same week, Mahindra launched its flagship SUV outside India, and we also witnessed a few interesting spy shots. Let’s have a brief look at what had happened this week:

Hyundai Exter Interior Revealed

Hyundai has now officially shown the interior of its upcoming micro SUV, the Exter. With this, the carmaker has also confirmed a few more features on the Exter, some of which will be first in segment. Recently, Hyundai Exter got its brand ambassador, who is a famous all-rounder in the Indian cricket team.

Maruti’s Premium MPV Name Confirmed

Now it’s official, Maruti’s upcoming premium MPV is christened as “Invicto”, the launch date of which has also been announced. Also, some select Nexa dealerships are now accepting reservations for the MPV. 

Citroen C3 Price Update

Citroen is all set to increase the prices of its hatchback, the C3,  effective from July 2023. This will be the third price hike of the C3 this year, and fourth since its inception. 

Mahindra XUV700 Launched In Australia

Mahindra has launched its flagship SUV, the XUV700, in Australia, but in limited variants. Also, unlike India, the XUV700 there is only offered with one engine option. The XUV700 in Australia has a similar set of features as the one offered in India.

Update On Maruti Jimny Booking

This week we got an update on booking numbers and waiting period of the Maruti Jimny. The offroad SUV has been already launched in India and is being offered in two broad variants. We have also detailed the list of official accessories available with the Jimny.

Spy Shots This Week 

The week’s spy shot includes test mules of 5-door Force Gurkha which has been spied with a new offroad feature, while we also got a sneak peek of Mahindra’s XUV300 interior. This isn’t it, the facelifted Hyundai i20 N Line has also been spied for the first time.

Volvo C40 Recharge Unveiled

Volvo took the wraps off its new electric vehicle in India, the C40 Recharge, and its launch date has also been confirmed. The C40 Recharge is the brand’s second all-electric offering in India after the XC40 Recharge.
