Aside from new launches and variant introductions, a Ford SUV was spotted in India last week, further fuelling the speculations of its possible return to the Indian market
The first full week of March brought us new launches, including an all new EV from BYD and Dark editions of two facelifted Tata SUVs. Hyundai also revealed the interior of the Creta N Line, while the automaker also introduced a new variant of the Venue. In the same week, a Ford SUV was also spied in India. BYD Seal Launched In India
The EV maker, BYD, launched its third offering in India in the form of the Seal electric sedan. The Seal is being offered in both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain options, and it offers a WLTC-claimed range of up to 650 km. Tata Nexon & Nexon EV Dark Edition Launched
The Tata Nexon and Nexon EV received a midlife update in September 2023, but they did not get Dark editions with the launch of their facelifted versions. Last week, Tata finally reintroduced the all-black edition with the facelifted Nexon and Nexon EV.
Hyundai Venue Gets A New Variant
Hyundai’s subcompact SUV, the Venue, has received a new ‘Executive’ variant, making its turbo-petrol engine more affordable than before. This new variant slots between the mid-spec S and S(O) variants of the Venue.
MG Cars Received Price & Variant Updates
MG introduced updated variants for the Hector, Hector Plus, Comet EV, and ZS EV recently. The prices for the Hector and Hector Plus have been revised, while the variants of the Comet EV and ZS EV have been renamed. Additionally, the Comet EV also received a new variant with additional features and AC 7.4 kW fast-charging option.
Hyundai Creta N Line Interior Revealed
Hyundai is all set to introduce the N Line version of the Creta in India soon. Ahead of its launch, the automaker has now revealed the interior of the sportier N Line SUV which features a new dashboard theme and a new steering wheel.

After the recent patent filed for the new-gen Endeavour, Ford is making headlines regarding its potential comeback in India. Amidst this speculation, the new-generation Ford Endeavour (known as Everest in global markets) has been spotted in India.
Volvo XC40 Recharge New Variant Launched
Volvo’s all-electric SUV, the XC40 Recharge, has received a more affordable two-wheel-drive (2WD) single motor variant. This new variant comes with a smaller battery pack, offering slightly less range than its all-wheel-drive (AWD) version, and costing nearly Rs 3 lakh less than the latter.
