    In the last week, one of Hyundai’s sportier-looking hatchbacks got a refresh in India, while Kia also introduced a couple of variants of its compact SUV packing ADAS tech. Volkswagen debuted the new-generation of one of its popular SUVs globally, while Mahindra and MG revised the prices of some of their models. Let’s take a look at what all happened last week.

    Just a few days after introducing the i20 facelift, Hyundai has now launched the i20 N Line facelift in India. Besides minor design updates, the facelifted hatchback has received a big mechanical change, making it more affordable than before.

    Two New Variants Of The Kia Seltos 

    The Korean marque, Kia, has now introduced a couple of more affordable advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) equipped variants of the Seltos. These new variants are limited to the automatic variants of the compact SUV.

    Tata Nexon Facelift Mileage Figures Revealed

    After introducing the facelifted Nexon, Tata Motors recently revealed the new SUV’s powertrain-wise claimed fuel efficiency numbers. With the update, the 2023 Tata Nexon offers a total of four transmission options with the petrol and diesel engines.

    Price Revisions Of The Week

    Mahindra Scorpio N and Classic

    Both Mahindra and MG have revised the prices of some models, resulting in Mahindra SUVs becoming more expensive, while two MG SUVs have seen significant price cuts. The diesel variants of the MG SUVs have received higher price reductions.

    New Mahindra Ambulance Launched

    Mahindra Bolero Neo+ Ambulance

    While we await Mahindra to introduce the Bolero Neo Plus as a passenger vehicle, the carmaker has brought out an updated version of the SUV as an ambulance. The ambulance version of the Bolero Neo Plus employs a larger diesel engine, compared to the smaller 1.5-liter diesel unit found in the Bolero Neo.

    BMW iX1 Teased For India

    BMW has teased another electric SUV for India, which is the iX1 that debuted in international markets last year. Internationally, the BMW iX1 comes with front-wheel drivetrain and all-wheel drivetrain (AWD) options.

    Third-gen Volkswagen Tiguan Debuted Globally

    Volkswagen recently took the wraps off its third-generation Tiguan SUV, which is more modern inside and out. This new SUV will be offered with a range of powertrain options, including a turbo petrol, diesel and plug-in-hybrid. We expect it to go on sale in India by 2025.

    Spy shots This Week

    Tata Harrier facelift

    The spy shot stories of the week includes two SUVs, one from Tata and another one from Hyundai, both in their updated avatars, and under heavy camouflage. The 2024 Harrier was seen with new front-fascia, meanwhile the 2024 Creta was spied showing new details and features.
