Offers and discounts are manufacturers prime weapon to boost sales. But does it always work? And how come the automakers afford retailing their vehicles below the ex-showroom price. Does it not affect the profit margin?
Well the answer is yes, giving discounts and schemes surely increases the sales. While about that profit making, the auto industry is going through such a phase that the battle is won by just recovering the manufacturing cost at minimal profit margin. Also to lure new buyers and create hype, most of the manufacturers are showing the excise duty cut benefit under their proposed schemes which further enhances the overall offer. It’s a known fact that despite offering tempting schemes and discounts, a manufacturer still manages to make a substantial amount of moolah. Well enough on the insight, lets focus on what really matters- The Discounts! The Offers.
