After the launch of Chevrolet Cruze Facelift of the station wagon variant at the Geneva Motor Show in the first quarter of the year, the General Motors has unveiled the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze sedan at the Busan Motor Show, which is expected to be launched in India in the first quarter of the year 2013.
The exterior design changes are minimal with a redesigned front-end featuring an all-new grille and fog-lamp housing. The other changes incorporated in Chevrolet Cruze include a newly designed alloy wheels, which gives the car a premium look. There have been no changes in the rear end of the car, which always had a conservative design and was never appreciated.
Though the exterior changes are minimal, the changes in the interior are significant and noticeable. The dashboard has been redesigned centre console with restyled air vents. New Chevrolet Cruze Facelift has been upgraded with Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system which is new. The upgraded hi-tech system has a 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen display which is capable of playing movies, music and photos from a USB drive.
Chevrolet Cruze 2013 will be the first Korean car to be upgraded with the MyLink infotainment system. The MyLink infotainment system will be soon featured in the global models of the Chevrolet but there is no information on the feature to be available in the 2013 Cruze when the car is launched in India.
The Indian Cruze will have a 2.0-litre diesel engine which will churn out power up to 163PS in comparison to the current model churns out 150 PS of power. Indian Cruze will make a debut by September 2012. The Indian Cruz will also have a facelift version soon as the competition is increasing in the Indian auto Market.
