Chevrolet Sail to debut in Indian auto market

The Indian auto industry was abuzz wit the news of Chevrolet replacing Chevrolet Aveo twins with Chevrolet Sonic. Now it is learnt that Chevrolet India will be selling Chevrolet Sail in India instead of Chevrolet Sonic as announced earlier. According to the company’s sources, Chevrolet Sail will be available in two variants, Chevrolet Sail Hatchback and Chevrolet Notchback.

According to company sources the prices of Chevrolet Sail Hatchback and Chevrolet Sail Notchback in China are $8,800 and $10,300 respectively. In China Chevrolet cars are sold by Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC). SAIC and General Motors are joint partners of Chevrolet cars in China.
