The waiting periods for the Korean twins, the Creta and Seltos, are relatively shorter. However, opting for a Volkswagen, Skoda, or even an MG could see you take delivery fairly quickly. • Getting your hands on the Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq is relatively easy, as both models have an average waiting time of two to three weeks. The Taigun has no waiting period in cities like Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Thane, Indore, and Noida, while the Skoda Kushaq is readily available in New Delhi and Gurgaon.

• MG Astor will make you wait for a maximum of up to three months in cities like Gurgaon and Chandigarh, but in many cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata and Coimbatore, there’s no waiting period on MG’s compact SUV.
