Concept cars will be the show stoppers in Delhi Auto Show

Excitement and enthusiasm is at its peak as the Delhi auto expo is about to start and automakers around the world are looking to grab this opportunity by showcasing their famous upcoming models in this auto show. This is the tenth edition of Delhi auto show and this time the Delhi Auto Expo will be the largest-ever staged by the country. The organizers are expecting a large number of visitors (around 18 lakh) in the auto show. While the Tata Nano was the main attraction in last auto show, this time around 6 new small car models will be showcased by major car manufacturers like GM, Volkswagen and Ford Motors.

The show stopper will be the  most awaited new concept cars from Japanese car majors Honda and Toyota. While Honda will display its under-development small car, the Toyota Motors will display the concept of its upcoming small car in India. The small car from Honda is expected to hit the market by 2012 and the mini car of Toyota Motors will hit the Indian market by 2010. The other compact cars at Delhi Auto Expo would be the Chevrolet Beat from General Motors, Volkswagen Polo by Volkswagen and Ford Figo From Ford Motors. At the same time Maruti Suzuki will unveil Kizashi sedan at the Expo.
