The Dacia Logan and Dacia Sandero were to make a debut during the Paris Motor Show, due 29th September, but the pictures for both leaked giving us a clear view of the car from the outside and inside. The Dacia Logan is known in India as the Renault Logan and Mahindra Verito.
Up front, the cars are similar to each other but they are completely different from their predecessors. These look much smarter as Dacia has done away with the boxy designs. The grille is similar to the one used in the Duster with smartly designed headlamps, flared front wheel arches that blend in the bumpers.
The interiors of both the cars look almost same with typical AC vents and gear-knob. The seats look comfortable and should give a good thigh support. The cars will use the 1.5 DCi unit which deliver a power of 75bhp/90bhp. There will be a new 3-cylinder 900cc 90bhp petrol engine as well.
Coming to the looks of the hatchback, Sandero; the hatch has also got a facelift that makes it look all new. The rear of the car is also freshly designed which somewhat resembles the Volkswagen Polo. This car is sold only in left hand drive markets and is based on the Logan platform.
This is the second generation of the Sandero, which first went into production in 2007. Along with the hatchback version, the Sandero based crossover mini SUV, Stepway, is also expected to make a debut at the Paris Motor Show.
