Fiat India is all set to change the AC systems in its car models mainly in two of its petrol based car models 1.2 Fiat Punto, the hatchback and 1.4 litre Fiat Linea, the sedan. This step has been taken after the Italian automaker received complaints about the sub-par cooling which forced Fiat to take the step of re-designing of the HVAC system completely.
It is being assumed that Fiat will complete the process by the end of March 2011. The customers are being informed by the Italian auto company to come and fix the default in the air conditioning system with the help of its dealers across India.

Sometime back, Hyundai's quite popular hatchback, Hyundai i20 also faced the similar issue with its cooling system. Well Hyundai did not replace the AC but the Indian arm of the South Korean auto mobile manufacturer offered Hyundai i20 ECM re-programme which helped in enhancing the AC performance.

Coming back to Fiat, the step taken by the auto company to switch the default a\c system for the already rolled out cars is being appreciated by the buyers. The company will also fix the defaults in its new car models. The company will then come with a beefed up condenser and variable compressor. This step will help the auto giant in increasing its creditability not only in the domestic auto sector but globally.
