Top executives of Ford India has given confirmation news that, Ford is not having any plans to launch the small car in India. The executive from Ford India also gave the reason that, the manufacturing cost of the Ford Fiesta hatchback becomes bit expensive mainly for the larger roof. In a market like India where high end cars do not find perfect place to fit in the customers mind the company does see a point to launch an expensive small car.
