After giving us two of the best all-rounders on road today, Ford India is now diverting its focus to enhancing its customer relations. In a bid to improve customer service Ford India has made genuine service parts available in Goa and Maharashtra. Autoji Ford Parts has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for parts in these regions. Vice president of Ford customer service operations, Mr. N Prabhu, inaugurated the facility at 17/8, D1 Block, MIDC Chinchwad, Pune. The facility is spread across 2000 sq. ft. located.
“As we introduce new products and bring more customers to Ford fold, we are committed to ensure convenience and easy availability of genuine spare parts. With the continued expansion of our retail distribution network, we will be closer to our customers by ensuring a reliable and improved customer experience.” said Mr. N Prabhu, vice president, Ford customer service operations, Ford India.
The next phase of this plan will include expansion of its genuine parts retail to other regions, which will include Rajasthan, East India and Gujarat. Ford India is also taking further initiatives to enhance the customer experience, which includes working with the supplier base to increase localization of products that will in turn help maintain optimum standards of quality, while keeping the prices competitive.
Ford Aspire has 850 sub-assembly parts available under the company's genuine parts distribution network. Sub-assembly level repairs helps enhance the ownership experience by providing the owners with an option of replacing sub-assembly parts, instead of the unit concerned.
Ford facilitates customization of its car with the help of Ford’s vehicle personalization center and by doing so has become the first automaker to bring customization to mass market vehicles. This level of personalization, which is currently offered on Ford Ecosport, is usually restricted to high-end luxury cars. Ford also offers “Happy Pockets Service”, which allows customers to avail Ford’s quality service for prices starting at just Rs. 2,199.
