Ford to launch new Fiesta in India

Ford Motors may be facing tough market situation in the US but its Indian operations remain unaffected. The company has planned to go ahead with its scheduled plans in India. The company is now manufacturing a small car based on earlier generation of Fiesta hatchback model.

Ford introduced its sedan, new Fiesta built on verve platform at the Ghangzou Auto Show in China. Ford intends to manufacture its new sedan across Asia in China, India and Thailand. In India, car will make its debut by late 2010. According to the company official, additional variations of this four-door sedan will be available across Asia and North America.

The new Ford Fiesta is a sophisticated small car. The design combines with advanced technology to deliver very high levels of refinement, safety and class-leading fuel efficiency. This new Ford Fiesta proves the leadership of Ford in small car design and development. The company has not yet released detailed technical specifications about new Fiesta but it is expected to have the same terrain as the hatchback model.
