Ford to Launch Special Edition Figo, not EcoSport on March 4

Ford India has scraped the rumour about launching the EcoSport on March 4 spread by a magazine, clearing that it is the special Edition Figo which will be launched on March 4, to celebrate the third anniversary of the company's best-selling car.

Ford Figo accounts for more than 80 per cent of total units sold by the American car maker in India, so to celebrate its success, the company has planned the launch of celebration edition of the Figo in New Delhi. There will be no mechanical changes to the Figo, it will be continue to carry the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines, however we can get to see some cosmetic changes and special edition badges.

Ford has recently launched the Figo facelift in the market with 140 changes, making it one of the most feature rich car of its segment. The changes include steering-mounted control, new head and tail lights, new front bumper, hexagonal front grills and new colour schemes.
