Honda calls back 1.35 million vehicles for headlight defect

Honda Motors, the Japan based automobile manufacturer will have to call back as many as 1.35 million Fit subcompact cars from round the globe owing to the defected headlight embedded in them. Honda Motors officials today made the statement where a call back of 1.35 million cars was made which include 621,000 units coming from overseas.

As per the company officials disclosure, the defect in electric wiring connecting between the headlights and the handle was causing low powered beam to fail to illuminate. As for now no accident has been recorded because of the flaw in Honda products and it was claimed by Honda spokeswoman. The Japanese Transport Ministry though has filed 130 cases of defected models.

The Suzuka factory of Honda situated in japan, is indulged in manufacturing the Fit cars between the period of November 2001 to October 2007. the reports says that approximately 385,000 units were transported to Europe Automobile market and along with that the model was also shipped to Africa, Asia and United States. And now owing to the flaw, Honda Motors have declared a call back of all these cars even from overseas markets. The company doesn't want to take any chance with its well established name in automobile world and for that Honda has declared a correction to this unexpected flaw in its car. The fixing of this little flaw will be offered for free of cost to the users. Honda dealers and service centres are going to be the major support to overcome this problem. Honda has a good network of service centres round the globe and that will be a major advantage with the company to provide this fixation of this flaw.
