The fuel efficiency details of the Honda Elevate have been revealed. The compact SUV made its global debut in June and the prices of it are expected to be announced in September.
The Honda Elevate will be offered with the familiar 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, with a choice of 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic. Its manual option claims a fuel economy of 15.31kmpl, while its CVT option promises to give a higher 16.92kmpl efficiency. Honda claims both the transmissions have been tuned to offer a blend of mileage and effortless driving experience.
Other Powertrain Details
This engine is rated at 121PS and 145Nm, same as offered in the Honda City sedan. There’s no diesel powertrain on offer, and unlike the City, even the strong-hybrid option has been skipped.
However, the Elevate is getting an EV version by 2025. It’s expected to offer a driving range of around 400-450 kilometres and could be priced around the Rs 20-lakh mark. Its rivals would be the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai EV for India.
